Heads up - important info! There will be a Chicago Fire game at Soldier Field on Saturday. Please allow extra travel time and be seated by 6:15 PM. The ceremony starts at 6:30pm and we don't want to start without you! We advise using the 18th street exit; and if needed, please show CPD the below image! For those parking, we have pre-paid parking available in the lot adjacent to the Adler Planetarium. An attendant will be on duty- simply let them know you are there for the "Shabosky/Roberts wedding". Please note that cars cannot be left overnight.

We have secured room blocks across several hotels for your convenience! We also encourage you to stay at another hotel or Airbnb in the city of Chicago if preferred. All events (welcome party + wedding day) are conveniently located to downtown. The Welcome Party will be in the Sheraton Grand Riverwalk. There will be no shuttles or transportation provided to or from hotels. Room block details:

We met the modern way - on Hinge, where a match turned into dinner at Old Pueblo. The night carried on next door at Happy Camper, where we ended up closing the place down with the staff kindly letting us linger as they mopped around us. I think they could tell we were hitting it off! Outside, we shared our first kiss and two years later celebrated our engagement in the very same spot. Today, we call Lincoln Park/Lakeview home, surrounded by great friends (some just down the street!) and a shared love of travel, family and time spent together.

Kurt has done it multiple times. 🚶‍♂️ The Chicago Riverwalk – 100 E Wacker DrWalk along the river with a row of outdoor dining and breweries.Jenna's favorite part of the city! 🏖️ Lakefront Trail Walk or Bike RideRent bikes or stroll along the lake for unbeatable views of the skyline and Lake Michigan. One of the best parts of Chicago in our opinion! 🏙️ Millennium Park &amp; Cloud GateHome of the famous Bean. Free music and yoga in the park on weekends which Jenna loves to do (when she can wake up early enough to do it). 🌆 Skydeck Chicago (Willis Tower)Step out onto the glass ledge for a thrilling city view. Close to where Kurt works downtown. 🐻 Lincoln Park Zoo– 2001 N Clark StA free zoo in the heart of the city and close to lakefront. In our neighborhood. NEAR THE SHERATON! 🍕 Robert’s Pizza &amp; Dough Company – 465 N McClurg CtA fitting name for the weekend. Artisan pizzas and can sit by the river if it's nice out. Located on the Ogden slip it's a great place to take a stroll and very close to the Sheraton. 🥪 Pinched on the River – 443 E Illinois StGreat Mediterranean food. We've had a couple of dates here. ☘️ Lizzie McNeill’s Irish Pub – 400 N McClurg CtWaterfront Irish pub with live music, right next to the Sheraton and where Jenna used to live! OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANTS! 🍔 Au Cheval – 800 W Randolph StHome to the most famous burger in Chicago (and our favorite!) No reservations so plan to put your name in and walk around. 🌮 Old Pueblo Cantina – 1209 W Taylor StThe spot of our first date ❤️ Authentic Mexican flavors, strong margaritas, and a special place in our story. 🍕 Pequod’s Pizza – 2207 N Clybourn AveBeloved for its caramelized crust - this deep dish is a crowd favorite. In our neighborhood. 🍕 Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria – Multiple LocationsOur favorite deep-dish chain, known for their buttery crust. Recommend for your first deep-dish experience! Jenna loves The Lou. 🥩 Bavette’s Bar &amp; Boeuf – 218 W Kinzie StThe best steakhouse in Chicago! Best meal you'll have, guaranteed. American food, can't go wrong here and bit easier to get a reservation. 🏰 Armitage Alehouse – 2000 W Armitage AveElevated British-inspired pub fare - highly recommend the pot pies!! 🇬🇷 The Athenian Room – 807 W Webster AveNeighborhood vibe, cash only. One of our favorites - highly recommend the Kalamata-style roasted chicken if it isn't already sold out!
